You can expect some folk-rock, country and a little bit of soul and blues wrapped around poetic lyrics, and a sometimes sardonic approach.
The CD includes 12 self-penned songs (“some are old, some are new, come are happy, some are blue”, says Bertocchini) and 2 covers... “I’ve always loved Will T. Massey’s 1991 MCA album. I think that over the years I must have covered at least 8 or 9 of the songs that are on it! And, of course, I am a huge fan of Jim Croce’s music. Who isn’t? So I decided to cover Massey’s ‘Coffee Break’ and Croce’s ‘Workin’ At The Car Wash Blues’: these songs really belong here, so I found a place for them.”
