This is a very special song. It is the result of a songwriting game that Lorenzo Bertocchini invited all of his Facebook livestream followers to participate in during the month of March 2020.
It is like a cyber sonic Frankenstein, a story-collage, a puzzle of ideas that was built, piece by piece, day by day, as the winners of the game were awarded the opportunity to contribute to the song.
Each day, Lorenzo would show a piece of paper on which he had written a word and the first watcher to post a comment containing that word won the chance to write a fictional line, and send it secretly to Lorenzo, so that all lines were independent of each other.
Lyrical contributions came from Andrea Zonca, Ray O'Neill, Giorgio Visentin, Filiz Dere, Nancy Hertlein Carney, Gina Giambone, Michela Bertolin, Wendy Cook, Natela Grdzelidze Bosetti, Madelyn Fieldman, Maddalena Cassani, Alessandra Bertoni, Paolo Brunelli, and Lisa Farina who, as first winner, also got to write the title of the song.
In the end, Lorenzo put these lines together, added his own lines, wrote the music and... magically this song was born!
Some of you may have heard it at one of his livestreams on Facebook: "Live In The Time Of Coronavirus".
