This song is an invitation to never forget who you are and where you come from.
It features the late great Marco "Mock" Zanzi on the banjo and was originally recorded for the "Ewe Mama - Volume 2" compilation.
Here it is, remastered and available for you with a cover painted by Andrea "Ravo" Mattoni, one of the world's most amazing street artists today: it was painted directly on the jewel box of a cd.
Bertocchini and Mattoni have known each other for years, but this is the first time that they have collaborated together.
"Andrea Ravo Mattoni began his own adventure as a writer in 1995. In the 2000s he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera (Milan) and devoted himself to oil and acrylic on canvas. He later started combining his pictorial research with his graffiti art.
Today Ravo is known around the world for his amazing art, particularly for the unusual and ambitious project that he started in 2016: it involves the duplication of great classic masterworks, spray painted in large scale on massive city walls and public spaces.
By delivering these technically impeccable street art pieces, Ravo intrigues and exposes the masses to the strength and beauty of classical art, bringing the paintings back to life and making them accessible to everyone in the community as they make their way around town.
His dream is to be able to create a sort of open-air museum, creating a bridge between the past and present."
